Fundamental aesthetic guidelines are the basis for accurate treatment planning and smile design. Their proper understanding and clinical application allows for minimally invasive tooth preparations and selection of the most appropriate and aesthetic ceramic materials. Ideal preparation design and understanding of cementation and resin-bonding principles for the various treatment options and ceramic materials available are key for long-term clinical success.

Starting with aesthetic guidelines and smile design, this course will allow participants to learn and practice tooth preparation designs for resin-bonded restorations. These range from bonded laminate veneers to inlays/onlays/overlays and resin-bonded bridges. Participants will then scan their preparations with an intraoral scanner. Selection of the most appropriate ceramic materials based on scientific information on optical and physical properties as well patient’s individual needs will be discussed and explained. Participants will learn how to sinter, process, and finish different ceramic materials. Cementation and bonding protocols for ceramics are not universal and have to be adapted to the specific ceramic material selection in any given clinical situation. Participants will apply and practice different cementation and bonding protocols for various indications and materials in a step-by-step manner.

This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of oral implantology, treatment planning, and restoring implants. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select the proper implant components, make provisional implant restorations, take implant impressions, and restore implants with definitive prostheses. This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of atraumatic extraction, bone grafting, and immediate dental implant placement. We discuss the different bone grafting and membrane materials and techniques. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select cases for immediate extraction, grafting, and implant placement. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on shedding practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide effective and efficient implant therapy to your patients.

The first day of this 3-day (30 CE) program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly-experience phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is so no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done the supervision of an expert.

The predictable management of the Maxillary Sinus requires an understanding of the treatment options including direct and indirect site preparation for placement of dental implants. It is also imperative to understand the possible pathologies of the Maxillary Sinus and, therefore, the treatment differences accordingly.

The purpose of this program is to introduce the dentist who is at the beginner to intermediate level in Oral Implantology to single tooth rehabilitation therapies. We will be utilizing digital dentistry in a manner that provides for both didactic and hands-on clinical experiences. Participants will place 10-12 single tooth implants and will assist a colleague in the placement of 10-12 single tooth implants.

This course is designed to provide dentists with the necessary knowledge and skills to utilize innovative concepts in contemporary denture therapies.
