Core 4: PRF Workshop & Live-Patient Implant Surgery Program
The first day of this 3-day (30 CE) program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly-experience phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is so no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done the supervision of an expert.

Amarjit Rihal
DMD, BS
Dr. Rihal obtained his DMD degree from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1995. His professional interest has involved all aspects of implant and CAD/CAM dentistry. He has additional training in both hard and soft tissue grafting as well as placing and restoring implants. In addition to implantology, Dr. Rihal has acquired expertise in CAD/CAM based prosthetic dentistry, involving numerous CAD systems and materials. Utilizing his CEREC ac, Sirona InLab system, 3Shape software and Nobel Procera scanner he has designed over 4000 restorations. He currently manages operations of his in house lab Lodge Dental, and is the owner of his own digital lab called Rihal Digital Designs. Dr. Rihal has trained with numerous ceramists in California and is versed on ceramic pressing and layering techniques over zirconia and metal substructures. He presently is a partner in a large group practice in Winnipeg, MB and serves on the boards of the Manitoba Dental Association, National Dental Examination Board and the current chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. He was also a part time instructor at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry and is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists and International College of Dentist.

Andonis Terezides
DDS, OMS
Dr. Andonis Terezides graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. He practices the broad scope of the specialty with a special emphasis in facial trauma & reconstructive surgery, tissue engineering, digital work-flows, minimally-invasive techniques, and full-arch/immediate load implant techniques. Dr. Terezides is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American of Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Bobby Birdi
DMD, MSc, FRCD(C), FACP, DABP
Dr. Bobby Birdi is one of North America’s very few Certified Dual Specialists in Periodontics and Prosthodontics. Dr. Birdi is an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and the University of Minnesota, where he is involved in multiple dental implant research projects and clinical trials. He also actively lectures both nationally and internationally in the fields of implant surgery and prosthetics.

Jason Battah
DMD, DABOI, FAAID, FICOI
Dr. Battah is a 2003 graduate of Laval University's school of dental medicine. He joined the Centre d'Implantologie Dentaire de Quebec in 2007, and has since dedicated his career to the clinical advancement and treatment of patients through the science and practice of implantology and implant dentistry. Dr. Jason Battah has extensive experience in both the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry, and is board certified from the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). His involvement in these organizations allows him to remain current on all the new research and the constant advances in this field of dentistry. Dr. Battah maintains a surgical and restorative practice dental implant practice out of his two clinics in Montreal and Quebec City, Canada. He performs all implant related procedures, such as dental implant placement, ridge or socket preservation, bone grafting and soft tissue augmentation procedures, as well as conventional crown & bridge treatments. On a ongoing basis, Dr. Battah also holds a comprehensive theoretical and hands-on dental implant training course at the teaching facility in our Montreal office. Doctors are invited to attend lectures and live surgeries throughout the year in order to improve their skills and understanding of current treatment possibilities using dental implants. In his free time, Dr. Battah enjoys family time with his wife and two kids and follows his passion for music and fitness!

Ron Zokol
DMD, DABOI, FACD
Dr. Zokol is proud to acknowledge his 20 years of practice partnership with his father, a certified specialist in prosthodontics. Prior to his involvement with implant dentistry, he became recognized for his restorative skills with direct and indirect gold restorations, resulting in him being awarded the Clinician of the Year by the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators award in 1997. Dr. Zokol is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He holds Fellowships in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. He has over 25 years of experience in implant dentistry and has spent more than 10 years as a surgical instructor for the Misch International Implant Institute. Over the last 30 years, Dr. Zokol has been appointed to many posts in numerous dental associations, including the presidency of the Vancouver and District Dental Society, Chair of the General Examination Committee, and Chief Examiner for the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Dr. Zokol has lectured internationally for many years in the field of Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery and is presently the director of the Pacific Implant Institute located in Vancouver, Canada, which is a learning centre for his fellow dentists. Dr. Zokol lives in Vancouver with his wife, Marie and their three sons.

Refund Policy
Registration requirements include a deposit for any Digital Dentistry Institute program of ½ the total tuition.
Balance of the program (unless in a financing or payment plan) will be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to the start of the course(s).
For cancellations:
- Prior to 60 days before the start of the program, a full refund minus a $1000 non-refundable deposit will be given.
- 30-60 days prior to the start of the program, a 50% of the total tuition fee will be incurred.
- Within 30 days prior to the start of the program, there are no refunds.
DDI reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any course as deemed necessary. In no event shall DDI be liable for any cancellation or change penalties assessed by airlines or hotels as a result of course date changes or cancellations.
