Maher Dadoush
DDS, MSc O Med, MSc, Dip. Perio, FRCD(C), DABP
Dr. Dadoush is a Dual Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics, Clinical Assistant Professor at
UBC Dentistry, Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada and Diplomate of the
American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. He holds a Master of Science
in Craniofacial Science and a Diploma in Periodontics from the University of British Columbia
(UBC).
He is dedicated to technological advancements in dentistry, with a Master’s thesis focused on
Artificial Intelligence in Implant Dentistry. His pioneering research in AI was presented at the
Canadian Academy of Periodontology Annual Meeting and the European Association for
Osseointegration Conference in Berlin. He also received the UBC Graduate Support Initiative
Award for his groundbreaking AI research.
Currently, Dr. Dadoush is enrolled in the Emerging Leader Program from the Foundation for
Oral Rehabilitation FOR, aimed at developing the next generation of experts and international
speakers in oral rehabilitation.
Before specializing in Periodontics, Dr. Dadoush earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery
and a Master’s Degree in Oral Medicine from Damascus University. He worked as a Certified
Implantologist and Dental Surgeon in the UAE for six years, and he is a Fellow of the
International Congress of Oral Implantologists accumulating 14 years of experience in the
dental field.
Dr. Dadoush is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American
Academy of Periodontology, the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the British Columbia
Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Team for
Implantology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Despite his demanding career, Dr. Dadoush shares his knowledge with colleagues and enjoys
spending time with his family, playing tennis, and hiking with friends to maintain balance in his
life. He is multilingual, and speaks four languages.
